I’ve spent 20 years working with customers and members, helping brands deepen relationships, reduce churn, unlock advocacy and create stronger businesses.

Why Clients Bring Me In

The truth is, a lot of people think ‘community’ is a nice-to-have fluffy layer on top of a company that is all about ‘vibes’.

But over my 20 years working for top-tier startups (Yelp, Deliveroo, WeWork) and consulting for many B2C and B2B businesses (seed to listed), I’ve learned, taught and developed a framework that shows that community is really all about building deeper customer relationships that act as an additional growth engine across the whole company.

My method and work sits across marketing, product, lifecycle, customer success and social, because that’s where customer‑led growth actually lives.

And as good as your existing team might be, I find it never hurts to have an experienced, external pair of eyes look at everything you do from a fresh perspective.

In essence - community is not the thing I sell. Growth, retention and customer value are - and I’ll work either externally or with your existing team to get you to where you need to be.

As my old boss Colleen Curtis, VP Reddit, once said about me: “He’s a doer, executor and thinker”
